Jewellery Care Guide
All our pieces are made from solid metal, which means the colour will not wear out.
Sterling silver pieces will get tarnished over time, but daily wear lets the oils on your skin cleans your piece. You can also easily restore the shine by using a polishing cloth.
We recommend making a silver cleaning solution:
- Line the bottom of your container with aluminium foil, then add 1 tablespoon of baking soda + 1 tablespoon of salt + 1/2 cup of white vinegar and enough boiling water to cover the items.
- Make sure the surface your piece has contact with the foil, let the pieces soak and give it a flip with a pair of tongs after 30 seconds to 3 minutes. According to how tarnished your piece is, a longer soak may be needed.
Also getting silver cleaning solution would be a good option too, the formula of these solutions are much stronger. For pieces that have gemstone stones and pearls, avoid dipping them directly in the solution as they may get damaged.
